Break the Cycle

If I had a dime for every time u cheated I'd be rich.
A bucket to catch my tears every time u lied I'd be swimming in it.
Give me a chance, give luv a chance.

Didn't u hear it calling our name.
Every blow followed by I love you.
Every choking I feel like I'm going under.
I take a gulping breathe to live another day to love u.

But you don't know this ain't luv its hate.
Hate of yourself, your insecurities, your own self pity.
Hatred stemming from your mother onto every woman unlucky enough to get tangled in your web.

What about me for allowing it. What do I know?

I accept my position of being battered and bruised because I learned from my father or lack there of....
